Writer's Block: Really, Truly
Mar. 13th, 2009 02:19 am[Error: unknown template qotd]There was an attraction between me and my husband from the first. But I waited a year and a half to date him. I wasn't ready then. I don't know if it was love, so much as reconizing the potential for it. There was immediate acceptance-we both liked each other and considered the other fellow travelers.
Do I believe in the concept of loving one person above all others? Well, I think human nature is changable, I'm actually suspicious of people who never change. If both partners grow and can stay together through it, sure. But if they grow apart, well, that's just what happens sometimes.
I do *not* believe in the concept of soulmates, in the Pagan sense that the same people reincarnate and marry each other for enternity. How boring!
