Writer's Block: Theme Dining
Aug. 15th, 2009 11:40 am[Error: unknown template qotd]I have a persistant fantasy about opening a small "meat and three" type southern diner-in someplace besides the South. Actually, in Minneapolis. I love that town and I want to convert those lovely people to the wonders of cheese grits and okra. I don't think it would actually work, since their growing season is so short, I wouldn't be able to have as many vegetable sides as you need for a meat and three. But the idea of being a restuarant owner in Minnesota is interesting. I wouldn't want to do it here, there's a meat and three on every corner.
