Made the fourth batch of holiday cookies just now, and I don't even know who all I'm giving them too. So far I have chocolate with chopped Reese's mini cups, gingerbread (not really a cookie, but still yummy), the oatmeal/golden raisin/toffee bars mom likes, and the peanut butter/m&m/peanut butter m&nm cookies from today. Yay.

I'm thinking of making monster cookies, which are similar to the ones I made today, to use up the balance of m&m's.

Monster cookies are a fairly recent invention. They're usually very big, and they have peanut butter, oatmeal, m&m's, and chocolate chips. I might through some leftover toffee bits in there as well. Kids love them. I started seeing these a few years ago in cooking magazines. I've never made them but they look like fun.

I like chocolate-covered Digestives. They're not very heavy, good for an afternoon pick me up. I eat more British candy than biscuits though.

Me too! Those are one of the ones I got because nom! Oh you get our candy?

Brit candy can easily be found in big supermarkets and import stores. Also for my birthday last year I ordered a whole box of British chocolate bars. Aero bars are amazing. British chocolate always tastes better (because it's got tons of vegetable oil in it, but never mind that).

I'm okay. Last week was a bust for writing, less than 500 words for the week. This week is looking up. My nano won't be 'finished', but it won't be wasted either.
