[Error: unknown template qotd]I miss P. sometimes. Last I heard he was still on the lam for embezzling a bunch of money from his former employer. Funny that I still miss him when I've known for years he's a sociopath. There's something about a person with no scruples who still treats you well, I guess. It wasn't a healthy relationship, but we had some good times.

Here's hoping he's not soaking his new friends too badly, but I'm sure he is.

Yeah. I do think it's more missing that time of my life than missing him. He was like my entry point into the alterna club world of Birmingham (and it does have one). I met so many people through him. I never ended the friendship, only pulled away from the intensity when things started getting weird. (I'll tell you the details of weird in an im.)
