I so wish I could donate my eggs, but my family has a history ofsome nasty things (alcoholism, mental health issues, asthma, allergies) and my dad was adopted, so that's probably not going to happen. Still, the idea of being able to make such a huge dent in my student debt all at once makes me weep a little.

I've heard that's super painful. So as much as I'd love the money, I'll keep the huge-ass needles AWAY from my ovaries, thank you.

Also, my friend tried to do that, and she's always been in shape and is super smart and seems like an ideal candidate to donate, but she totally got rejected. I guess they're really picky about whose eggs they take. Hah, yeah, I'd get the boot as soon as I walked in the door. Bad eyesight, overweight, family history of heart disease on both sides?? They'd probably laugh at me.

hm. That kinda gives me an idea. :/ I could probably get at least another years worth of "work". .. Not sure morally if I'd be allowed to do that though! Bummer. :(
