Buster the dog was put down at appoximately 11:00 am today.

She was a sweet baby girl right up until she went under sedation. Thank you all for your help and thoughs for us.

They made me cry like hell today though: I got a sympathy card with a tuft of the dog's hair and a paw print in it.

Bawled. For an hour. Evan came home and threw out the card and stuff in it. I later got the paw print and hair out of the garbage and stuck it in a box. Once I got over the inital shock, I figured I could keep them if I didn't have to see them all the time.

Mourning is so complicated.

There are days I still bawl about Screech. It gets easier.
