Grease is seriously dirty! When I was eight I got my first stereo system (my dad was sick of me trying to play records on the living room player when he was watching sports), and my first ever full LP was the Grease soundtrack. I actually went to stay with my aunt and uncle in Gadsten to get to see the movie-it wasn't playing in Oxford. My teen cousin made me turn my head in a few places, and once she covered my ears.

When I was 13, it was shown on tv and I thought "Damn this is stupid". And never watched it again.

A few pro-Grease arguements defend it not only as camp, but lesbian camp-John Travolta's character is such a mix of masculine overkill and sensitivity he's more like a butch role model. And fifteen points to whoever came up with that theory!
