Okay, I did a lot of things that might be considered worse, but considering that I lost my virginity at 20 to a total ass, I really, REALLY wished it had been him instead. He was actually nice!

Not only that, but there was the possiblity of a threesome with him and this other girl as well. What was I thinking? Idiot.

OMG SAME! Okay, blond surfer dudes were rare in Laredo in the eighties. But I found out way AFTER that the boy I had been so in love with FOREVER, like, through middle school, would have totally been game if I had made a pass at him when he was tutoring me in math in 11th grade. He was so sweet! And short and cute (*thereby starting my short, cute men fetish) and an all around sweetie. My confidence just wasn't there at at that point, damn it.

I also lost my virginity to a total ass, which, I guess, proves the old adage about mostly regretting what one does not do.

I didn't know he was flirting with me! And before he moved he made several references to it "Um, you know, I'm leaving soon." He wasn't very verbal, which might have been why I missed the cues. And I loved verbally quick men, which might've been why I overlooked him a bit.

But! He read (we swapped books) he was funny, and god I wanted to bang him so bad. And-argh! That drives me crazier than anything else in high school, right now. I want to send out a message sometimes: "Shannon, wherever you are, we totally should have done it."
